About Our Tall Women's Sleeveless Knot Front Dress

Your casual companion to brunches, boardwalks and weekend getaways. This tall women's dress combines a breezy, sleeveless shape with a midi-length skirt that sits just right. Thanks to an elegant knot detail at the waist, it has an A-line shape that flatters your figure and fits it properly. It's made with a stretch-infused poly blend that's been shrinkage controlled, because it's hard enough to find tall dresses without worrying about losing length in the wash. We've designed this dress for tall women from 5'9" to 6'6", with the proper proportions to fit both your torso and your long legs. Soft to the touch with a flowing fabric, you can pair it with sneakers and a sweater or sandals and sun hat.

Powerful for the presenter
Format: Paperback
My boss's boss recently told me that our organization's presentations are boring data dumps that make her wish she was somewhere other than there listening but not really hearing or caring about this slide and dreading the next. She suggested that since I was going to be doing a lot of presentations in the future I should avoid that method and do better presentations. I immediately sought advice from our best presenter and learned that his method came from his gut feelings about what worked better. He has good instincts but to codify what he explained I decided to buy a book to learn why his approach works. The closest book with an effective explanation I could find is "beyond bullet points". It captured and expanded on the instinct my new mentor explained so that I could now understand how to use the slides to supplement the story and how to interweave the data so the whole presentation is more meaningful and memorable. I recommend this book to anyone looking for more of an answer on how to improve their presentations and eliminate the data dump in bullet points.

Great for Presentation Education
Format: Paperback
It has been some time since I have utilized Beyond Bullet Points, but this is one text book that kept with me. The point of the book is to help a presenter get their point across to the audience through Powerpoint presentations, and the book does this well. I am sure there are editions other than this one at this point, and I would definitely recommend looking into them in order to keep up to date. Starting with this book is a great idea due to its simplicity.

Great Process for Presentation Noobs
Format: Paperback
I had already agreed to give a workshop to my co-workers about how to give more effective presentations when I purchased this book for prep. I immediately adapted the recommended process. After years of creating my own slide decks I have my quirky development process. Following the guidelines in this book will allow anyone at any skill level to methodically create a dynamic slide deck and give a speech that will move the audience to action. I wish I'd had it 35 years ago, when I first started making slide decks, before I learned the hard way that bullets kill.
